I enjoyed the book Night for several different reasons. One reason is because it is about the holocaust and World War 2. I find both of these historic events very interesting because they have made a huge impact on everyone today. Another reason I enjoyed the book was because it was good all of the way through. I feel like most books are bad at the start and get good like 100 pages in but this book was good right away. My favorite part of the book was when Elie thought his father was dead and the "gravediggers" were coming to get him and Elie jumped on his body and said that he's not dead yet and saved his fathers life.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a very interesting book also. But it also seems like it goes into a lot more detail then the book i read.
DeleteThat's good that you enjoyed your book. Sounds interesting to read. My book was also good all the way through. I also agree with how most books don't get good until like 100 pages in.
Deletei also read night and I agree with how the book gets right into it because they go on the train and as they go to Auschwitz they see ashes bodies being burned and it just continues to get more gruesome. And i agree that Elie saving his dads life is a great part in the book.
Deleteour books sound similar, on how both of them get intense and go in depth. Sounds like there was gore in your book and my book had some when Preston shot himself.
DeleteI really liked the no bars held approach to the accuracy in night but i would say it was very gory as it should have ben
DeleteI also liked the book night because its based on a true story and they didnt try to sugar coat the grusome and cruel things that had happened to the jews.
Deletesounds like you read a good book and that it really explained certain things during that time.
DeleteI also enjoyed this book because of the good history lesson it teaches you and loved learning more abut world war II.
Deletei enjoyed reading the boy at the top of the mountain. some reasons i thought it was a good book because unlike most books talking about the holocausts, it gives a perspective from Hitler's side. One of my favorite parts about the book was the main character peter, who moved in with Hitler when he was seven. It was interesting to see how peter was the note taker for Hitler, and while he took notes he never realized what Hitler was doing with these camps they were wanting to put up. not until it was too late did peter realize what he did. I would recommend the book to people who find the holocausts interesting and want to read a side of it from a different perspective.
ReplyDeleteThat's good that you liked your book, sounds interesting. That's cool how it was from his point of view. That's weird how the 7 year old was taking notes for Hitler, at least he realized after a while.
DeleteThis book sounds very good, and I think that I would read this book if we had to read another book. It is cool that he grew up with Hitler and did not even realize how bad he was until he got older.
DeleteMy book was also by the Nazis but it was from the Us connector between US and Germany
DeleteThis books sound pretty interesting and the opposite of my book because my character is Elie who is in Auschwitz with his dad. But your book is also like mine because peter it sound like if he does something wrong or disobeys Hitler he would get punished peter connects to Elie because if Elie does anything wrong hell get shot or whipped.
DeleteSounds like a good book to read. Our books sound similar inn the sense of having to make a tough decision. Whether peter try's and stops Hitler or Dillon telling the police about Jennifer getting raped by her step father.
Deletesounds like the book you read was very good and i think if we had another book to read i would choose that one.
DeleteMy book Night was from a Jews prospective during the holocaust but I think a book from Peters prospective would be very interesting because the holocaust is never talked about from a Germans prospective. If there was a fourth book I think I would definitely pick this book.
DeleteI want to read this book to see from the German side of the war and what they went through and were told was happening in the concentration camps. Did they know and approve how these people were getting treatred?
DeleteI did enjoy my book A Dogs Way Home because it was a very good book. For example, it had a very good plot and never had boring parts in the story. My favorite part was when the dog found it's way home to the owner. I would recommend this book to people who like dogs. I also liked how it was an easy book to read and was not hard to follow. I rate this book a 9/10 because it was very interesting and fun to read. I also like how the author kind of has a series of these books so if you like reading his books you can read other books from him too. The story in this book also has a good plot.
ReplyDeleteThis book sounds like an amazing read, and I think I will definitely be reading it in the near future. I love how the author uses the dog as the main character.
DeleteI would love to read something from a dog's point of view and i like books that don't have parts in it that don't really have anything to do with the book, i will have to read this book in the future.
DeleteThis book sounds like a good book to read and I feel like it would be interesting to read a book from a dog's point of view because it seems weird to be able to write a book in a dog's point of view. Maybe someday I might try to give this book a read and see what it is like and also read about the dog's journey back home.
DeleteIf you stretched the characters in my book, Beatrice, Dante's wife being his home, and Dante being a dog, you could jump on the fact that it may correlate to a dog trying to find his way home.
DeleteSounds like a fantastic book. I am a dog lover myself. I used to have a black lab named tucker, he's is no longer with us. Now we have a golden retriever named willow.
ReplyDeleteI didn't really mind the book Night its not really a book you can be happy after you read it because all the gruesome things that happen in it like seeing people get shot seeing bodies being burned. if i would have a favorite part it would have to be when his dad came back after failing the 1st round of test and Elie and his thought that he was going to die the reason why this would be my favorite part is because this is one of the only moments that Elie was relived and happy. I would recommend Night to someone who wants a short read or someone who wants to learn more about the holocaust and what happened inside Auschwitz.
ReplyDeleteThis book was one of my favorites because i actually wanted to finish the book
DeleteThis book sounds very interesting and a lot like the book i read. only difference is it seems like it goes into a lot more detail then my book.
DeleteI really liked night as I would rate it 2nd in books I read for this class and enjoyed
DeleteI did not read the book "Night" myself but it was my first choice for the second rotation. I'm thinking about reading it at some point in the future. My book "The Catcher in the Rye" could also be a tough read at times due to the subject matter. Though sometimes the best books are not the most fun and maybe these tougher ones are sometimes the most impactful.
DeleteI agree it was not at all a very happy book, it was more of Elie just telling his story which I think is impactful and an amazing story. I did really enjoy the book though and found it interesting as I like history and learning about the Holocaust.
DeleteYes and no because at the beginning it took at least 20 or more pages to get to where the story took place. It described how there life was all before he got chosen to be ambassador from us to germany affairs. My favorite part of the book is when the Himmler and goring go nuts on Hitler to get him to get rid of Rohm even though he was with him from the beginning. The craziest part of all this was there was no actual fact of Rohm doing anything against nazi ideals the only real reason for this massacre of The SA troops was pure hysteria and distrust from people who all want complete power like Hitler has. I would recommend this book to history lovers because every author is different and this one's special.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, the boring long exposition at the beginning is worth it, and sometimes there is history that is never brought up again.
DeleteI agree, especially with my book Dracula, a slow burn is good at introducing characters to make you care about them more and to build up suspense/important events in the story so the payoff is more effective.
DeleteChinese handcuffs. I liked the book so so. at some points it got tough to follow and comprehend it all. There were flash backs and stories to his dead brother that made it hard to understand. it was hard to tell if it was a flash back or happening right now or what wad going on there. there is not a clear theme and kind of goes all of the place. what I did like about the book was how intense it was. It got intense when Preston, first shot himself. Then the interaction with the biker gang. Also when Jennifer tried killing herself but Dillon stopped her just in time. I would recommend this book to other people it is still a good book.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed Chinese Handcuffs, I did also. Though I agree there was a ton of flashbacks I think it added to the story by showing the audience the traumatic events that shaped the characters into who they are.
DeleteI also liked chinese handcuffs and I do agree with all the flashbacks it was kind of hard to follow whos point of view it was coming from sometimes
DeleteI read Chinese handcuffs, and I also liked the book and do agree with you guys.
DeleteI did enjoy The Alchemist as the book provides wisdom as even the back of the book gives wisdom I would recommend this book to those who sought wisdom in reading.
ReplyDeleteSounds like your book isn't a good match for me.
DeleteMy book was running loose I really liked this book i think my favorite part was when coach Madison went above and beyond to help Louie get on the track team because he knew that with Becky's death it would be really hard for him to cope if her didn't have anything to do to get his mind off it so Louie set his sights on winning the two mile run and he ended up winning I would recommend this book to anyone but especially someone that may be going through something similar.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed my book "The Catcher in the Rye". The book centered around a teenage character trying to figure out society and his place within it. Due to this premise I could connect well with the protagonist Holden, and that hooked me.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part was towards the beginning of the book when Holden stopped by to check in on his professor. This is a great scene because it shows who Holden is, his views on the world and others, his caring side, and the hole he has dug himself into with his failing grades.
I think that everybody should read this at some point within their teenage years, it opens you up to how the world isn't an amazing happy place but, you're not alone and that everyone can do something to try to make it better for the succeeding generations.
I've heard of this book but never read it. Sounds like it could be a good read with maybe a good message for teenagers,
Deletei read the ghost deer and i really did enjoy this book. i enjoyed this book because it was about something i enjoy to do. like hunting and being in the pursuit of a specific animal. my favorite part was when at the end Tate was contemplating weather or not to kill the deer because of the people he has helped and because of how old the deer was, because that really shows that he cares about the hunt and not just the kill of the deer. some one i would recommend this book to is someone that enjoys the outdoors and hunting.
ReplyDeleteThis would be a good read for me sense I like to be outdoors and hunt.
Deletei read the book girl in pieces and i really loved this book. i liked this book because it made you want to know what was going to happen to her like when she was in the hospital (psych ward) her friend Mikey reached out to her and told her that he was going to get her out of there and it had me on the edge of my seat because i wanted to know if he really was or if he was just saying that to her to make her feel better. i would recommend this book to someone who likes a great read or even something a little relatable like if you know someone who self-harmed or even yourself it gives you an amazing perspective on how they think and how they feel like Charlie kept saying that she felt alone and just wanted to crawl out of her skin and be seen by people rather than the marks on her arms or skin.
ReplyDeleteSeems like a very violent book to read. But also very interesting.
DeleteThis book sounds like a very sad but interesting read because you can learn about how the brain works for people like in the book and a view in their perspective. I think this sounds like a very interesting book and I think I will read it if I get around to it.
DeleteThis sounds suspenseful and a good read. It reminds me of my book "The Silent Patient" because they both have characters in the Psych ward for violent behavior.
DeleteI read the book Wake, I liked my book and I think it was a very good decision to read for my last book. One of my favorite parts of this book was probably when Cabel finally explained why he was ghosting Janie and what is line of work was. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who will want to follow along to this series and see what her journey ends out to be, I know I will.
ReplyDeletei was in your book group and this seemed like a cool concept. going into others dreams is a cool super power and how they made the main character an outcast is a cool topic.
DeleteI would also be interested in reading this because I love books that are parts of a series.
Deletei feel like your book is interesting and seems like you would wanna keep reading to find out about like you said him ghosting that girl.
DeleteMy book The Rolling Stones was and enjoyable book because it provides us with important information about the band. I would have to say that my favorite part of the book would have to be the early life of the singers because the talk about how their music became so popular back then. If you're into like music, then this would be good novel for you to read. Also, you learn yourself what it takes to make a band and become famous.
ReplyDeleteMyself and my family also love The Rolling Stones, I would be interested in reading this to learn about their upcoming before they were popular.
DeleteI read the book running loose and i enjoyed it a lot. I dont like reading books because they usually dont interest me but running loose kept me hooked the entire time. The sports topic interests me a lot more than any other topic and i like connecting with a sports book because i used to play a lot of sports. My favorite part of the book was when boomer was picking on louie in the locker room and was about to beat him up but carter stepped in and saved the day and boomer backed down like a dog. I would recommend this book to anyone that like sports.
ReplyDeletei think this would be a good book to read because i also like sports books. its intresting to see how they grow in the sport and how they face diffrent challenges.

ReplyDeleteI did enjoy my book An Iowa Pilot Named Hap a lot. I found it very interesting that a lot of events took part in iowa at places i know, i also enjoyed learning about the POW camp Hap was taken to and how the young prisoners worked together. In the end he retires out of the service and teaches arcutecture at iowa state which i cool because my sister goes to iowa state. i would like to read a story about the field of dreams because it would talk about dyersville where i live. i liked learning about how all the prisoners fashioned different scraps into tools for escape. like how they used the rubber of old boots to make stamps for fake passports. they even went as far as making suits for all escapees to disguise them self's. i would recommend pilots to read this book as it is all about the life of a pilot. i rate this book a 9 out of 10.
This was probably a very interesting book for you due to you wanting to become a pilot in the future.
DeleteThis book best suites yourself because of yyou wanting to be a pilot, and i might have to read this book to see how being a pilot really is. It also seems very intresting becaause it is a pilot book from iowa... what a coincidence. I would also like to see the life of a pilot.
Deletethis sounds like a very good book and sounds like you can connect to it well since your future plan of aviation. i should check it out and read it because i enjoy aviation as well
DeleteI read the book, Pushing The Limits by Katie McGarry. I like this book a lot because it was centered around high school life so it was easy to relate to and the slang and dialogue was understandable because it was spoken by kids my age. My favorite part of the book was when Echo finally remembered and realized what she had been through and forgave her dad and stepmom. I think she was right to contact her mom and forgive her for how she treated Echo but set up boundaries so that it'll never happen again. I recommend this book to people who like relating to stuff about kids their own age or people who have gone through anything like substance abuse or a broken home setting. even though it's just a book, people don't realize there are actual kids out there who go through trauma like that on a daily basis.
ReplyDeleteThis book sounds like it's very relatable for teens. I think I'd enjoy reading this as well.
DeleteThis book sounds good. I might have to read it!
DeleteThis book sound very good and I think a lot of kids our age could relate to it.
DeleteMy book was very easy to understand as well I'm glad you enjoyed it I think other teens would enjoy this.
DeleteYes, I enjoyed reading my book "The Silent Patient" because it kept my attention the entire time there was never a dull moment. There were so many different storylines and so many characters introduced throughout the book which I liked a lot it made it more intriguing. Like all of Alicia's connections, because she couldn't speak, Theo had to learn about her from other people. My favorite part was the plot twist at the end I knew it was coming so I just wanted to keep reading until I got to the end. The plot twist changed my perception of the whole story and had me questioning the whole book. I'd recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading suspenseful, and mystery books because this book is perfect for that.
ReplyDeleteI've read this book before 10/10 recommend
DeleteYour book sounds like my book in the way that becuase their was never a dull moment and there were many different story lines. I like books with plot twists that you don't see coming so i might have to read it.
Deletei feel like our books are similar and that they have to deal with traumatic things happening to our characters and its just a matter of if they are able to over come it or not
DeleteI really enjoyed my book Things We Left Behind by Lucy Score. I choose to read this book because it is part of a three book series and i had already read the first two in the series so i wanted to read the third book. In all three books it revolves around a friend group from high school and some of their personal friends who overcome hardships together. Its also a romance book all three involve two friends wanting each other but not knowing how to love others the right way. My favorite part in this book is when Sloane realizes that Lucian loves her when she found out everything that he's ever done for her and her family without telling anyone. She's almost mad but she cant help but feel good. I recommend this book to someone who loves a thrilling romance book, with suspense your not sure if the couple will work out or if they will be together in the end. If you like that kind of book The Knockmount series if perfect for you!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this book and I believe it is due to the author of this book. I very much enjoyed this book and the other one I read by him. The main reason I chose this book is because it is by Chris Crutcher and he is a very good author. I like both of these books and the way they are set up. I enjoyed Running Loose better with the story being more relatable to me. I feel Chinese handcuffs was a lot harder to relate to and it was hard to keep track of what was going on. Running Loose is probably the best book I have read to date.
ReplyDeleteI also enjoy reading a good Chris Crutcher book. sounds like you really enjoyed this book will have to give it a read on a rainy day thanks for the incite on your favorite book.
DeleteI really enjoyed my book The House In The Pines becuase it kept me one my toes not knowing what was going to happen next. During the whole book i couldn't fiugre out if the main character had a mental health issue or if she was telling the truth about this guy she once knew. My favorite part was when the mian character sloved the mystery and decided to get help with her drug problem and mend broken fences with family member and friends. I would recommend this book to people who like mystery and don't mind the book going from present to past a lot and at some parts not really knowing when it is present time or past.
ReplyDeletemy book kept me on my toes trying to figure out which guy she was going to pick just like yours with trying to figure out there mental health and the truth of it all.
DeleteMy book also kept me intrigued trying to figure out where Dracula was and what his plan is, similar to yours, they try to help one of the characters who has a problem, her problem being that she has been bitten by Dracula and their solution is to hunt him down and kill him.
Deletei also could not put my book down at times
DeleteI really enjoyed my 3rd book and I think it was the best one I have read so far. I really like how much detail they gave and I really like how they kept it real. There was always something happening like when the hurricane hit. I could not imagine being in the middle of the ocean during a hurricane and actually surviving through the huge waves and wind. My favorite part of the book was when They were riding on the backs of 3 whales. There boat had sunk into the ocean and they had been 10 days in but they still did not give up. They had hopped and top of them and used them to float on for as long as they could. I think that is really cool and a great strategy for survival. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a lot of action and different events. This book will keep you on your toes and always has something interesting happening.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like an eventful survival book that anyone could enjoy reading. I couldn't imagine being stuck in the middle of the ocean but maybe this book could give me some survival tips. I would hope to never be stuck in this situation but would definetly be something i would like to read.
DeleteI really enjoyed reading Trust the Grind by Jeremy Bhandari. The fact that it is a book about sports and I know of some of the athletes plays in huge part in me liking it. something else that I liked about it was that they shared their own experiences. Each person having a different childhood and why to put themselves into situations to succeed, but generally they are pretty close to same plans. Most of them had meal plans, exercises to do, and even writing in journals. My favorite part is probably the last chapter, talking about Manny Pacquiao. In this story he had the worst living space as a child, but still managed to keep his hopes up. Even with everyone being Hall of Famers, I think Manny had the biggest impact and the most success in his journey. Starting out living in a cardboard box in the Philippines to living in a mansion in Beverly Hills at the end of his boxing career. That's not where he wanted to stop though. After his boxing career he became a Senior Major Sergeant in the Philippine Army reserve force. Most people would stop here, but he later ran for the Philippines House of Representatives and is now serving as the Senator in the Philippines. With all this he never changed and would always give back to his friends and family. I would recommend this book to people who like reading about sports and those who are trying to improve their own lives.
ReplyDeleteAfter being in the disscusion group with you a hearing about your book i will defeintley read it when your done because my passion is sports history. Alot of the people in your book are very meomrable people to me and would definlety like to read about their story to the top atlhetes in the world
DeleteI really enjoyed Falling Kingdoms. The best part about it is the shifting perspectives of 3 different characters, so that you get background information that some characters don't know. One example of this is when Cleo hid out in an old woman's house for a night, and the next chapter, the character that wants revenge sees her through the window while she's sleeping. It's really fun that only the reader knows just how close 2 characters could have met. Even better, this is book one in a series of 5, so I'm definitely going to be finishing it in my own time.
ReplyDeleteMy book has 3 boys that compete against eachother and you watch them become in to prices. also get info on these characters and their backgrounds
DeleteMy book was Snow Falling, and I did really enjoy it. It's a bit different compared to the show Jane the Virgin which it is based on. But a specific moment that I enjoyed was the grilled cheese scene. Where Rake just wanted to have a nice moment with her and then kissed her years later, they reconnect and do it again having a magical night drinking and horse rides in the night and looking up at the stars. I loved how supportive her family was especially her dad after never knowing him and when he found out stepped in and became closer than ever. Although I do wish Josephine chose Rake, I do think since it was based of trying to keep the memory of Martin(micheal in the show) alive and never to forget him she chose the right path.
ReplyDeleteThe 3rd book i read, DDay by Deborah was one of my favorites books i have read during my time in highschool because dday was a memorable event in our countries history. I felt like i could connect to this book the best because i was able to choose this book and i have already had so background knowledge on the book from us history. The last reason i enjoyed this book is because it is always intriguing to see how war this big could be like. I feel like at least in my time i feel we will never have war this big again, and i will always take time to read and remeber soldiers that served our country. My favorite part of this book would have to be the strategy these used to take down hitler and his army. They created many static killing zones to leave the germans vulnerable and ultimately winning the war. I would definelty recomend this book to other because its a great event in our countrys history to learn about and it very cool.

ReplyDeletei really enjoyed my book mayhem and madness this is by far one of my favorite books i have read it has a lot of adventure and mystery with it. i don't feel like couldn't connect to the book because i haven't lost my dad and i don't have a super villain suit sitting in my basement but he does face challenges and setbacks to push through to succeed and i feel everyone will have those if they haven't already. My favorite part in the book was when bailey found his dads suit and connect the dots between the super villain and his dad and realizing that the only way to find his dad is to continue his work. i recommend this book to anyone who likes the mystery and adventure in a book and likes to read fiction novels.
ReplyDeletesounds like you enjoyed your book
Deleteit sounds like a good book to read that might be my next one i read.
DeleteI really enjoyed my book "Night" by Elie Wiesel because of how amazing his story is and how well he tells it. My favorite part of the book is when they run because the Russian front is coming closer and they arrive to the last camp before they are rescued. I like this part because it feels like a relief because the hard part is finally over and they were liberated shortly after that. I think that this is a book that everyone should read. It can be hard to read at times just because of the horrible things he recalls seeing but for the book as a whole he recalls it very well and with great detail.
ReplyDeleteI too also read Night and I also enjoyed that part because I too also felt the relief that they were now out of all the torture and get to live freely again and get some good food again and actual portion sized food.
DeleteI read the book Night and really liked it because it was a real story of a survivor of the holocaust. I've heard of the holocaust and a parent of my mom and dad's friend who is still alive is a holocaust survivor. So to actually understand what it means to go through this experience was impactful. The first detail that stood out was the story from Moishe Beadle that infants were tossed in the air and used as targets for machine guns. What?! What kind of person does that? There were so many atrocities that took place it kept a persons interested as to what could possibly happen now? Another story was the woman yelling for them to look at the flames. How did she know what was going to happen? My favorite part of the book is when Elie was to go get his gold crown pulled and he made up the excuse that he was sick and was able to keep stalling. It was a small win for him, but a win none the less. I do wish there was more to the end of the book. What happened to him after the war? Did his mother and sisters live? I had to research that myself. I think it's a good book for anyone to read. This war was pretty fresh for the past generations but as the older people die off, the knowledge and first hand experience of how truly horrible it was is fading.
ReplyDeletei really enjoyed my book because i like to hunt and especially with my brother and so i can really connect to this book me and my brother like to go turkey and deer hunting, as well do Kyle and Kent also i really likes the message of this book and that's at the end of the day family is family and family is the most important thing in life, i would recommend this book to anyone especially hunters, even if you don't hunt you should still read it, and maybe by reading it it will make non hunters want to start or try out hunting,
ReplyDeleteMy book is more about war but also has some hunting aspects in it, so this sounds interesting to me
DeleteThe book I choose to read was "If You Tell' by Gregg Olsen. Overall it was an amazing book and it constantly kept me wanting to read more and more. I also enjoyed reading about how crazy some people are in this world and the amount of abuse she did to her kids and "her friends" and how she found joy out of all of it. My favorite part of the book was when the two oldest daughters spoke out and eventually over time the mom, Shelly, and the dad, Dave, where put into jail where they belonged. The only part that I did not like was that the Shelly was only in prison for 22 years and was released in 2022 and Dave was in prison for a little under 15 years and was released in 2016. I feel like they should have not been allowed out of prison for what they have all done. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves documentaries and enjoys reading true crime stories.
ReplyDeleteThe book I read was "Dracula" by Bram Stoker. Overall, I thought it was a fantastic read that constantly kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed reading about the strange supernatural happenings surrounding the story and how it affected the characters, how Dracula was a physical and emotional threat to the heroes, and the overall mystery element to where Dracula is or what is plan is. My favorite part was when one of the main characters, Johnathan Harker, was staying at Castle Dracula to discuss the real estate that Dracula had bought, when he starts hearing screaming and sees Dracula climbing the castle walls with blood dripping from his mouth along with three vampire ladies feasting on a woman's infant, shattering his reality of this kind old man being a paranormal monster. The only part I did not enjoy was when the two love interests, Mina and Lucy are gossiping about their love life, as I felt it was filler and halted the progress of the story. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves horror, specifically supernatural horror and murder mystery.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed my book American sniper, I think it was a more detailed version of the movie, but it was nice to learn some of the small details. some of my favorite parts of the books is learning about all the training required to become a Navy Seal. It was crazy to hear the war story's and believe they survived. I think this book would be a great read for anyone interested in war or history as this is a real story. I really enjoyed the way Chris Kyle wrote the book and made it easy to understand some of the military terms.
ReplyDeleteThe book I read was called "The girl that was supposed to die." I really did enjoy it, I thought it was a quite interesting murder mystery book, got straight to the story nothing was confusing. for example, my book starts off with Cady not knowing where she is, she ends up escaping, meeting ty, then they end up finding Cady's family and Ty and cady fall in love! my favorite part of the book was when they gave an eight-week flashback, because it gave me an idea of how her life looked before all of this. I would recommend this book to people that enjoy murder mystery's and likes surprises.
ReplyDeleteYour book sounds like an interesting story and something I would enjoy reading. I think it would be fun to try to figure out what happened to her at the same time she does.
DeleteI'd say I enjoyed Dante's Inferno for a couple of different reasons. The main one is how it goes through the punishments of the damned and those who have committed unredeemable sins. This not only gives me ideas for my own writing, but it's told in a way where you can imagine the horrors of which these people go through for their own acts. My favorite part was probably at the end where Dante and Virgil climbed down the back of an almost completely frozen Lucifer to then travel from the river of forgetfulness back to Earth. This part is really cool as it incorporates the 3 main betrayers of history that we know of in which were significant, Judas, Brutus, and Cassius. I would only recommend this book to someone who can work their way through analogies, rhymes, similes, and other figurative languages while the text is written like a Shakespearean poem.
ReplyDeleteI Read The False prince and I'm happy that I picked it. The main reason I loved the book was because of the overall pace I feel like the book is explained in really good detail but at the same time nothing is explained to much, I feel like its perfect pace with the right amount of humor. My favorite part is when one of Connors vigils Mott realizes Sage is the real prince and then he starts treating him completely different. this is also when you find out out Sage is the real prince .I would recoment this book to literally anyone i think the way the author writes this book is different from most and i think many people would enjoy this. I also recommend the book for those who like fast paced books

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading this book because I enjoy learning more about history and the events that took place before my time. I think this is an important book that every one should read not just to learn about the holocausts and world war II. This book also shows how Elie cared so much father gibing him most of his food so he would have a better chance of survival. Elie doing every thing he could to try and help him before himself. my favorite part of this book was probably one of the saddest parts when they were in the cattle trailer for several day and people were toughing bread into the trailer watching the Jew's fight over the food for enjoyment. I would recommend this book to someone who wants to learn more about history..
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this last book because it was so eventful and different than what I would usually read. Normally I would read murder mysteries but I decided I would try Devils Within because I read Silent Patient and really enjoyed it. In both books, the main characters committed horrible acts and struggled with her mental health issues. My favorite parts of Devil's Within was anytime he had contact with his old "cult" because it would always be something big and shocking. For example, while the town was holding a prayer vigil the "cult" members through bricks through the windows and lit crosses on fire. I would only recommend this book to people who can handle reading about lots of violence and controversial topics like religion and racism.
